1. Register at Indian Railways website .

2. After completion of registration you receive a SMS on your mobile containing download link of the mobile ticket application for the phone. Use the link for downloading of Mobile Ticket Application (M-Ticket). Install the Application.

3. Once the application is installed, you can complete the Reservation and Payment easily. Payment need to be done either through debit/credi card or net banking. On completion of booking and payment formalities, an SMS with ticket details will be sent to the user, which is referred to as the Mobile Reservation Message (MRM).

Mobile Reservation Message (MRM) is only sufficient for traveling. Printout or Ticket is not necessary. But valid Proof must be carried out in journey.

1. IRCTC Official Online Ticket Booking Site:

Before you could book your ticket, you would have to generate your account with the IRCTC. Individual registration is FREE. However, a valid Mobile number and valid email id are mandatory to register as individual user on the IRCTC website. Once the account is registered with IRCTC website the user could go through User Guide provided on the website for familiarizing himself for booking/ cancellation of I-Ticket or E-Ticket depending upon their option of choice. I-Tickets are delivered through courier to the address registered with the IRCTC website account and for that some additional charges are levied per delivery.
