Southern Railways announces to introduce a new bi-weekly express train services between Mangalore Central - Kacheguda

As announced by the Hon’ble Minister for Railways in the Railway Budget    2013-14, a new bi-weekly express train service between Mangalore Central – Kacheguda will be introduced by Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways at 15.00 hrs. o­n 23.02.2014 at Mangalore Central Railway Station.
 
The regular service of Train No.17605 Mangalore Central – Kacheguda bi-weekly express will commence o­n 26.02.2014 (Wednesday) ex. Mangalore and that of Train No.17606 Kacheguda – Mangalore Central bi-weekly express will commence o­n 28.02.2014 (Friday) ex. Kacheguda.
 
T.No.17605 Mangalore Central – Kacheguda bi-weekly express will leave Mangalore Central at 20.00 hrs. o­n Wednesdays & Saturdays, leave Katpadi  at 10.25 hrs. o­n Thursdays & Sundays and arrive Kacheguda at 03.40 hrs. o­n Fridays    and Mondays.
 
Train No.17606 Kacheguda – Mangalore Central bi-weekly express will leave Kacheguda at 06.00 hrs. o­n Tuesdays & Fridays, leave Katpadi at 19.40 hrs. o­n Tuesdays & Fridays and arrive Mangalore Central at 11.20 hrs. o­n Wednesdays and Saturdays.
 
The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 7 Sleeper Class,       6 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van  coaches.
 
The trains will stop at Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Razampet, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Gooty, Dhone, Kurnool City, Gadwal, Mahbubnagar and Jadcherla.
 
Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on 23.02.2014
